Anneesha Jones, affectionately known as "Sister Shontay," is the visionary Founder and CEO of Pressing My Way Thru, a dynamic Outreach Ministry she established in 2014. Initially operating solely on donations from friends, family, and strangers, the organization officially became a nonprofit in 2024.
With a passion for innovation and an unwavering commitment to progress, Anneesha has led her organization to new heights. Her journey is marked by a dedication to making a positive impact, and her leadership has shaped Pressing My Way Thru into a thriving force in its industry.
Pressing My Way Thru offers sessions on self-love, knowing your identity through Christ, understanding your worth, money management, ACT prep, college preparation, interview and employment readiness, and many empowerment workshops and conferences throughout the year and much more. Upcoming services include food banks, a resource center, and a clothes closet. The ministry also provides support for single mothers and teen mothers, aiming to assist minority families and children in every way possible.
Anneesha's leadership and vision continue to inspire and empower women and young women in the Midsouth, equipping them with essential life skills and the confidence to conquer life's challenges and achieve their dreams.
